PBM is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Mechanic/Operator in the Packaging Department at our Georgia, VT facility. This is a 2nd shift position, M-F from 4:00pm - 12:15am.

Duties Include:

• Troubleshoot and repair all packaging line systems and equipment
• Make changeover adjustments to product and can size changes
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure all packaging equipment remains in "as new" condition
• Follow packaging procedures & instructions assuring continued smooth operation of the packaging line to package product efficiently, effectively, & consistently in order to meet customer requirements & expectations
• Operate automated packaging equipment
• Follow detailed procedures
• Provide accurate documentation
• Welding ability desired

General Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose all major pieces of packaging equipment and adjust or repair this same equipment in a timely manner
• Skilled in mechanical repair, equipment set up, preventative maintenance, and equipment changeovers
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, properly complete documentation including daily time sheets, line changeover sheets, critical control point sheets, and equipment logbooks.
